I am an economist based in Canberra, Australia. My interests include the interrelationship between the macroeconomy and labour markets, fiscal and industry policy, and structural transformation of the Australian economy. I also have an interest in broader Australian public policy (higher education and health).

During my career I have been involved in the development and analysis of economic policy, including industry and productivity policies, health economics, taxation and business regulatory reform. My career has included applied economic modelling, including forecasting and use of advanced econometrics and computable general equilibrium models of the Australian economy.
